Consignment

A great way to save money on high end items is to find them in consignment shops.  You can find beautiful decorative items at much better prices than retail.  A great local shop is The JLC WearHouse.  You can also find great fixer-uppers at thrift shops like Value Village.  We have lots of great fabric remnants that would give that great chair or ottoman you find a brand new look!

You can also make a little extra money by taking your gently used items to consignment shops for resale.  You'll definitely make more than you would in a yard sale, and it's especially useful for selling items that are better looking in person than in a photo on ebay.
